Annie has a wonderful and very sweet personality.
She is
the one of the sweetest mare on the place and is so docile. She loves every one
and has been used as a lesson horse the last few years. She is so kind and
patient and really takes care of her rider no matter what level of experience
they have. Annie is a finished cutter, but has had limited showing and has only
earned at unaffiliated events. She is so gentle, smart, athletic, cowy and has
a huge slide stop. She is everyone’s favorite horse to ride. She is so special
to us and was our very first foal. She has been shown in countless 4H shows and
has won countless prizes and ribbons. Annie has always loved to show and even
shows off in the pasture. She passes all of her wonderful qualities to her
foals as well as her beautiful confirmation and her wonderful temperament.

Polksalad Annie was one of best
mares around and was truly amazing. She was in Cutting training for
the futurity and broke her ankle weeks before the 1989 futurity. She had more
heart than any other horse and was so dedicated to her job. She healed up and
raised exceptional foals that went on to become earners in various events. We
used her for lessons and teaching beginners to ride. She was very reliable
and always patient with her rider. She taught many kids how to ride and lived
her days out being loved and cherished as our most special mare.
